D2D cofounder Peter Tufano submitted a Statement for the Record in connection with the July 15, 2014 hearing before the House Committee on Financial Services Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit. In his statement, Tufano reinforced the importance of the American Savings Promotion Act stating, “Prize-linked Savings has a positive appeal to low to moderate individuals and non-savers; not just motivating them to start to save, but helping them develop a long-term savings habit that will result in increased” financial security.”
