Buying Savings
What if buying savings were as simple as picking up gift cards or prepaid debit cards at your local retailer? What if the cards were collectable? For instance, stored value savings cards with images of NASCAR drivers that may each be initially worth $50 and earn competitive interest.
Buying U.S. Savings Bonds at check cashing or other alternative financial services locations
Imagine if lower income consumers could purchase long term, portable savings alternatives at point of sale locations such as check cashing outlets? Lower income Americans use check cashers as part of everyday financial services. What if these outlets could facilitate small savings?
